Having grown to four teams which consist of Firsts and Reserves (consisting of any age group over 35) and Over 50s and Over 55s, we are a club with over one hundred players and many past players, who still float in and out to have a run, watch a game or have a chat over a beer.

We value training and train Tuesdays and Thursdays each week with teams announced after training on Thursdays. We encourage players to train within their fitness levels and, depending on availibility, at least once a week. Training starts around 5pm and is usually wrapped up by 7pm.

Within the Metro league we play fornightly over 10 rounds which will usually see half played at home - we encourage players to be available for both home and away games.

The 2019 season is exciting after 32 years all teams we are fully engaged in the Vic Metro Masters League Northern Division after spending our past in the country - though the bus trips are shorter we will always seek an "overnighter" against teams that are further away which are great trips, where we usually book a bus and hotel. We take our off-field performance nearly as seriously as our games, with a comprehensive Social Calendar available on our Facebook page.

Celebrating 30 years Geelong Masters hosted the 2017 AFL Masters Carnival with around 1700 players from every state and territory playing a full week of games including playing on the home of the Geelong Cats - Kardinia Park. The yearly carnival is the highlight of the Masters calender - this year the roadshow heads to the stunning town of Townsville where flights are available direct from Avalon Airport.
